Association Profile

As the peak body for the interior plantscape industry in Australia, the National Interior Plantscape Association (NIPA):
* promotes the use of plants in public, commercial and residential spaces to filter the air, increase the level of worker productivity, sales and tenant retention and to enhance the beauty of the indoor environment;
* supports Australian research projects, through the University of Technology Sydney, advancing scientific evidence that live indoor plants clean the air and benefit human health and wellbeing;
* assists government and business with internal plantscape design and specifications for the correct plant species;
* liaises with government bodies and private industry on relevant industry issues;
* provides strategic direction and leadership to the industry;
* delivers its own high quality accreditation program and recognises the importance of continued professional development;
* works with allied associations internationally, particularly New Zealand, to create global parity and synergy; and,
* represents all sectors of the industry including, manufacturers, wholesalers, interior plantscapers, technicians, allied traders and consultants.
